Pineapple cake



Product description

A different cakes, exquisite in appearance and very delicious.

Pineapple Cake

Ingredients:

Dough:

* 195 gr. flour, all purpose
* 2 tsp baking powder
* 1 / 4 tsp salt
* 1 tsp vanilla
* 114 gr. unsalted butter (room temperature)
* 200 gr. sugar
* 2 large or 3 medium eggs
* 120 ml. milk
* 1 / 4 tsp cream of tartar

Coating:

* 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 160 gr. brown sugar
* 1 medium pineapple, cut into thin slices

Instructions

1. Put on medium heat (in a pan) butter with brown sugar and leave until butter melts and mixture is lightly caramelized.
2. Get a form that opens after you buttered, spread the caramel to go anywhere. Place the pineapple slices to create a beautiful design.
3. In a bowl mix the flour with the baking powder, salt and vanilla.
4. In mixer bowl, you put the butter with the sugar and beat for 5 minutes. Add the yolks of the eggs (one by one) and continue to beat for another 5 minutes. Add the flour mixture alternately with milk.
5. In another bowl, beat egg whites with the cream of tartar until stiff and make meringue. With a spatula add the meringue a little-little above the yeast and stir gently.
6. Spread the dough over the pineapple and bake in preheated oven at 180oC for 45-50 minutes.
7. Remove the mold from the oven and let cool. Turn and xeformarete.
